Milkman on a Monkeybrain

I kicked off the new theme on Monkeybrain with this friendly milkman



And below is a little making-of. The style of Gorillaz was the main inspiration for this one.

One big ice-cream fest!

This week, I started a biweekly blog for the students of my school, Monkeybrain Sunday. Every two weeks the theme changes so you can expect a lot of original work from the talented people that contribute :)

The first theme I chose was "Ice-cream". Why? I have no idea, I was under the influence of voodoo last week. Anyway, I made this weird piece. I really like it because of the truck. I usually suck at cars and other things on wheels but this came out pretty well.

Valentine cards for my big love

Back in the days, we sure had a great time. Going on all sorts of adventures, talking all night and of course the hot steamy item combinations...

But then came the break-up.

For almost ten years you left me alone to drown in my tears. I really had a hard time and almost did the unthinkable... but then you came back...

Tales of Monkey Island was announced and I was reunited with my good old pirate love!

Anyway, I did these Monkey Island and Sam & Max related valentine cards for a contest on the Telltale forums. I like how they turned out so when I have the time (haha yeah right) maybe I'll do some more.

An oldie this time. I made this the day after seeing Dead Man's Chest for the first time. He's still a great character, both visually and storywise.
