We're still working on the story of 'The New Kid' but in the meantime, here are some new sketches:

Musicvideo Guus Meeuwis - Nergens Zonder Jou (Ft. Gers Pardoel)

I just finished my first big assignment; a music video for Dutch artist Guus Meeuwis and rapper Gers Pardoel. I had 4 weeks, which isn't a lot of time for a 4 minute animated music video but thanks to some energydrinks I won't name here, I made it in time. Here is the video:

The New Kid announcement

Good news everyone! With the help of our friends at il Luster Productions and Anikey Studios, me and Zagbliblör buddy Davor Bujaković are working on a new animated short!

As you can see, it's called 'The New Kid' and features a round green swamp thingy.

The project is still in a very early stage but here are two concept art pieces:

Just wanted to say that I passed my final exam with a short version of Sheeped Away! So now I'm graduated! I will finish Sheeped Away this summer and hope to release it online somewhere in September.

Double Fine Action Comic FanArt

It's been a while since I acted like a jumping fanboy, but today's the day!

I recently bought Volume 1 of Scott C's 'Double Fine Action Comic', which is a webcomic on the Double Fine site. And well, long story short; it's awesome. Buy it now.

When I was done reading, I immediately started drawing a grouppic of some of the characters

So I decided to start another small(ish) project to work on next to my graduation short, just to blow off some steam. It's called "Gerard en Stipje door de tijd" (or; Gerard and Stipje through time) and yes, it's Dutch only!

This trailer (which is about 100 times more epic than the actual series) was made with the great help from the talented Robin Niekerk, who's blog can be found here

And for the music, Belgian über composer Joris Hermy helped me out, for the third time now.

So instead of working on my graduation short, school thought it was a good idea for me to make an animation about cats on balls.

There's this educative game for highschool students called "CarKit" and we had to search for more ways to brand the IP. I of course, went for a 2D animated short which you can see up there.
